Each foundational SPARK (Social skills, Pretend Play, Art, Reading, Kinesthetic/Movement, STEM activities) supports exploration and enhances learning as children prepare for and grow into a more structured learning environment (such as a home-school program, full-time preschool, or kindergarten).

We believe every child shines in their own unique way! In addition to our regular art, play, science, reading, and movement activities, we thoughtfully tailor parts of the program to reflect your child’s passions, personality, and developmental needs.

Whether it’s creating a colorful collage, adding space-themed sensory tables for our young astronomers, or building friendship-focused games to foster growing social confidence, your child’s interests help us co-create a meaningful experience for all.

Ages 3 to 5 are at the SPARK Stage — a magical time when imagination expands, emotions take root, and learning leaps off the page. We’ve crafted a space where preschoolers learn and grow through enriching creative experiences. Our themes of exploration, and activity areas are thoughtfully aligned with how children learn best:

Curious Thinkers: 

Preschoolers learn through storytelling, play, and hands-on discovery. We tap into that natural curiosity with engaging monthly themes, imaginative adventures, and open-ended prompts that inspire exploration, ignite questions and build connections.

Expressive Communicators:

Emerging vocabularies bloom through storytelling, songs, puppetry, and discussion. We celebrate every child's voice as they practice listening, and expressing their big ideas — whether through speaking, painting or pretend playing.

Creative Explorers:

This is the age of scissors, glue, and glitter — where fine motor skills and bold artistic choices are growing every day. Our studio-style environment encourages the creative process, decision making, confidence, and lots of “look what I made!” moments.

Social Beings & Big Feelers:  

Learning to share, empathize, and self-regulate happens gradually — and joyfully — in our small, supportive community. Our studio guides gently facilitate relationships, cooperation, kindness, understanding, and friendships with patience and care.

Children learn in a variety of ways. We use multiple tools to maximize fun & learning!

• Visual Learning - through story props, picture books, colorful prompts, art 
• Auditory Learning - through songs, rhymes, expressive "art show & tell"
• Kinesthetic Learning - through movement-based activities and role play 
• Tactile Learning - through sensory bins, paint, clay, collage, fiber arts 
• Social Learning - through small group collaborative and pretend play 
• Solitary Learning- through independent creation and guided reflection 

We believe early learning should feel like FUN. Not like a typical loud, cramped and chaotic childcare classroom or a drop-in space.
