Meet Your Creative Co-Hosts:
Barbara Gini is our Founder and "CEO" (Creative Experience Organizer)
Some of us were born with "Silver Spoons" - Barbara was born with a box of pastels! An educator, author and entrepreneur for more than 20 years, she is happiest when she is surrounded by shiny happy people and colorful, sparkly things! She has previously operated a housekeeping company, an event planning & staffing company and a recreational arts program that featured her proprietary S.M.Art Kids™ Adaptive Movement & Storytelling curriculum. She holds multiple education and wellness certifications and loves to help families embrace their inner child artist, and remember how to have fun again, by using their creative superpowers to heal through humor, and colorfully personalized art. Lauren Bruge is our Co-Founder and CFO - (Chief FUN Officer)
Lauren is not only our co-founder but also Barbara's daughter and youngest of four grown children. Lauren is an infinitely talented preschool teacher and tutor. Since she was 4 years old, she's enjoyed experimenting with paint, glue and jewels, especially painting & embellishing clothing. She also enjoys painting rocks and furniture. Lauren previously worked in the Hospitality industry, and helped Barbara Manage her event staffing company. She is happiest when she is working with and teaching children. She lives to celebrate Life and enjoys organizing children's parties and recreational programs that are fun and educational. She shines at helping children find the fun in learning through art activities and creative play.

The Oasis "Birth Story" - (A Happy Little Accident)
In 2020 when our lives went "on pause", Barbara's Hospitality company went the way of the dinosaur! But lucky for you, it did. Barbara ultimately chose to dissolve the company and return to her first love and greatest passion, creating and teaching art.
Meanwhile, Lauren's college classes were on hold indefinitely, and like many, they managed the best they could under stressful conditions, isolation, and an uncertain future.
To keep physically strong, emotionally grounded and mentally occupied, they turned a storage area in their drafty old, detached garage into a makeshift exercise room that morphed into a tiny art studio, that they fondly called "The Oasis".
"That musty old garage represents a colorful Oasis in the midst of an ever-expanding desert of worldwide chaos. An Oasis that nourished and gave respite. In that space, our creative playground, we could escape, have fun, express emotions, manage stress and dream with color and creativity, of a future filled with hope, happiness and healing."

In early 2023 they began sharing and teaching creative projects with small groups of friends, family and others: in humble homes, public parks, welcoming eateries, local schools, community centers and of course in their garage Oasis.
Their main focus is on helping people plan creative social celebrations and bringing them right to your door!
