Our newest offering is an innovative, creative enrichment experience for preschoolers age 3 - 5! Our signature Bright SPARKS program uses Storytelling, dramatic Play, Art and Reading/Reflection to build Knowledge and Success.
With small class sizes, (8 children maximum per class) thoughtfully designed prompts, interactive activities, and interesting themes of exploration, your child has a space to create, play and thrive — imaginatively, socially, and emotionally.
This is not a daycare or a "drop-in" program. It’s a three-dimensional, creative learning experience designed to nourish your child’s creativity, confidence, and curiosity over time. It makes a perfect companion for any homeschool or traditional school program.
Parents who choose Bright SPARKS are looking for more than a day program with a few enrichment activities here and there. They are seeking quality over quantity and want a more individualized, holistic enrichment program where their child is inspired, engaged and celebrated for their own unique brilliance as they prepare for a full-time preschool or Kindergarten.
The Program Details
What is the Bright SPARKS Creative Enrichment Program?
Bright SPARKS is an innovative small-group creative program for preschoolers.
Created by two experienced educators, it has been carefully designed and curated to help SPARK your child's unique brilliance through storytelling, creative play, art, and discovery. The small class size allows shy children to play, socialize, create and learn without getting overwhelmed or overlooked and our proprietary SPARKS approach allows each child to shine!
Who is it for?
This is a perfect environment for children ages 3 - 5 who:
- are/will be home- schooled
- feel more comfortable in smaller groups
- are not ready for a full day/full week daycare or preschool
- have families looking for something distinctive, enriching and meaningful for them
What's the Schedule?
Our drop-off program offers a two-day schedule, mornings only for 2 1/2 hours each morning from 9 - 11:30AM.
You can select a Mon + Wed schedule OR a Tues + Thurs schedule.
(We don't offer afternoon or 1, 3 or 4-day schedules at this time.)
- Fall session runs September 8 to November 20 (12 weeks.)
- Winter session runs January 5 to March 23, (12 weeks)
- Spring session runs April 13 to June 15 (10 weeks.)
- Summer session - (Summer Explorers Camp) Runs June 22 to July 30. (6 Weeks) (No classes in August.)
What are the "SPARKS"?
Each SPARK helps kids prepare for a more structured learning environment:
Storytelling/Social Skills: children learn so much through stories. Not only is storytelling and reading aloud an excellent way to teach children about life, build imagination & early language skills, but also strengthen self-concept and social skills!
Play: children age 3 - 5 have rich imaginations and dramatic & pretend play with friends as well as movement and listening games helps them as they build confidence and self-reliance, learn about themselves, others, and the world around them.
Art: the benefits of artmaking for preschoolers is well documented! In addition to building neuro-connections, refining fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, pre-writing skills, and learning about color, shape, and texture, children develop a creative way of thinking, and a non-verbal method of deeper self-expression and visual communication.
Reading/Reflection: when children are asked gentle questions about a story, an imaginary scenario, a conflict with a friend, or the art they are creating, it encourages thinking and reflection, and supports self-regulation, empathy, and emotional intelligence.
Knowledge: children build social and cognitive understanding through storytelling (the Hero's Journey) pretend play (acting out scenarios) art (self-expression) and reflection (creative thinking) as they have undirected fun while engaging in play.
Success: success to us for 3 - 5-year-olds starts with self-concept and self-confidence. These foundational SPARKS elements enhance and support learning on many levels as children prepare to move into a more structured learning environment (such as homeschool program, full-time preschool or kindergarten.)

How to Become a "Founding Family":
We're opening up a small number of spots for our Founding Families, to help start this program! We want to eventually bring it to as many families as possible!
If you would like to be one of our Founding Families, we would love to have your child join us! We have just 7 spots open for our Mon/Wed morning class and 7 spots open for our Tues/Thurs morning class. We will add afternoon classes to match interest.
Tuition for founding families will include 50% off the regular registration fee (you pay just $50 to register) and $100 off monthly tuition (you pay $195/month for the first 12 week/3-month session.
After the first session, if you would like to continue in our Winter and Spring sessions, your rate will be ($295/month) with no additional registration fee.
We offer a 10% sibling discount.

Other Details:
This is a drop-off program for children ages 3 - 5 as of Sept 1, 2025.
Children must be able to understand and follow simple instructions.
Children must be potty trained and have the ability to communicate their needs, be independent in the bathroom, (pull up and down their own clothing, clean themselves, and wash their hands.) *(We have a single-use bathroom with a kid-sized potty right in our learning studio.)
Staff will give several reminders for bathroom trips throughout the morning and will positively reinforce successes. (You may send in an extra change of clothes in your child’s bag in case of a bathroom, snack or art accident!)

Barbara Gini & Lauren Bruge
Our Bright SPARKS Creative Enrichment Program (coming fall of 2025) is led by:
Ms. Barb (right of photo) is the mother of 3 grown kids plus a grown bonus kid; a former homeschool parent, preschool classroom assistant (autism support), sensory -motor coach, (Brain Balance & Brain Gym Programs) author, and recreational programming designer with more than 20 years' experience. She is the Founder of "The Art Oasis".
Miss Lauren (Ms. Barb's daughter and youngest child) is our talented child whisperer, experienced preschool teacher, creative curriculum designer, and homeschool learning coach with more than 10 years' experience. She will finish her elementary education degree in Spring/Summer 2027 (Kutztown). She is co-founder of "The Art Oasis".
