Our newest offering is an innovative, creative enrichment experience for preschoolers! Our signature Bright SPARKS program uses Storytelling, Pretend Play, Art, Reading/Reflection, Kinesthetic learning, and Social Skills to nurture and expand your child's natural curiosity as they build friendships, knowledge, and success.
With small class sizes, thoughtfully designed themes of exploration, interactive and self-directed activities, your child has a space to create, play, and thrive — imaginatively, socially, and emotionally.
Parents who choose Bright SPARKS are looking for more than a day program with a few enrichment activities added here and there. They are seeking quality over quantity and want a more holistic enrichment program where their child is inspired, engaged, and celebrated for their own unique brilliance. See our FAQs here
The Program Details
What is the Bright SPARKS Creative Enrichment Program?
This is not a daycare or a "drop-in" program. It’s a small-group, play-based, enrichment experience designed to nourish your child’s creativity, confidence, and curiosity. It makes a perfect companion for any homeschool or traditional preschool program.
This is a perfect environment for children ages 3 - 5 who:
- are/will be home- schooled
- feel more comfortable in smaller groups
- are not ready for a full day/full week daycare or preschool
- have families looking for something distinctive, enriching and meaningful for them
Created by two experienced educators, it has been carefully curated to help SPARK your child's unique brilliance. The small class size (no more than 8 to a class) allows shy children to play, socialize, create and learn without getting overwhelmed or overlooked.
What's the Schedule?
Our drop-off program offers a two-day schedule, mornings only for 2 1/2 hours each morning from 9 - 11:45AM.
You can select a Mon + Wed schedule OR a Tues + Thurs schedule.
(We don't offer afternoon or 1, 3, or 4-day schedules at this time.)
- Fall session: September 8 to November 20 (11 weeks)
- Handmade Holiday Camp: December 1 to December 18 (3 weeks)
- Winter session: January 5 to March 25 (12 weeks)
- Spring session: April 13 to June 17 (10 weeks).
- Summer Explorers Camp: June 22 to July 30. (6 Weeks)
*(No classes in August.)
What are the "SPARKS"?
Each foundational SPARK (Storytelling, Pretend Play, Art, Reading, Kinesthetic/Movement, Social Skills) supports exploration and enhances learning as children prepare for and grow into a more structured learning environment (such as a home-school program, full-time preschool, or kindergarten).

Personalized Play & Learning Experiences
We believe every child shines in their own unique way! In addition to our regular art, play, science, reading, and movement activities, we thoughtfully tailor parts of the program to reflect your child’s passions, personality, and developmental needs.
Whether it’s creating a colorful collage, adding space-themed sensory tables for our young astronomers, or building friendship-focused games to foster growing social confidence, your child’s interests help us co-create a meaningful experience for all.

How to Register:
We're opening up a small number of spots for our Founding Families to help launch this program! We want to bring it to as many families as possible!
Registration is closed for our Founding Family promotion; however, we still have spots left for 7 Pathfinder Families! Register before Aug 30 to receive $25 off the regular registration, and $50 off your monthly tuition for the first three months. Fall Registration closes on August 30.
*We have just 3 spots available for our Monday/Wednesday morning class and 4 spots available for our Tuesday/Thursday morning class.
Tuition for our Fall Session will include a non-refundable $100 registration fee ($25 off the regular rate), and $50 off monthly tuition (you pay $295/month for the first 11-week/3-month session if you register by August 30.
After your first 11-week session, if you would like to continue in our Winter and Spring sessions, your rate will be $345/month with no additional registration fee.
We offer a 10% sibling discount and a partial scholarship for children whose parent would like to volunteer as a studio assistant on their class days. (*Background check and proper clearances are needed before volunteering.)

* Spots cannot be held without your registration deposit. If we have enough interest, we will open up afternoon sessions - 12:30 - 3 PM. Please message us if you are interested in an afternoon time slot.
Other Details:
This is a drop-off program for children ages 3 - 5 as of Sept 1, 2025. We have a cafe area in the building where you may wait if you feel your child may need an adjustment period the first week.
Children must be able to understand and follow simple instructions. Children must be potty trained, with the ability to communicate their needs, be independent in the bathroom (pull up/down their clothes, clean themselves), and wash their hands. You may send in an extra change of clothes in your child’s bag in case of a bathroom, snack, or art accident!
*(We have a single-use bathroom with a kid-sized "potty" right in our studio.)

Meet Your Bright SPARKS Studio Guides!
Barbara Gini & Lauren Bruge
"We’re not just educators. We’re creative guides, experience-weavers & joy-sparkers."
Barbara and Lauren are the mother-daughter duo behind Bright SPARKS, blending artistic imagination, movement-based learning, and a deep understanding of how children grow best — through play, connection, and curiosity.
Barbara brings decades of enrichment experience: from sensory-motor coaching and therapeutic art to adaptive yoga and whimsical recreation program design. She’s a mother of 4 grown kids, a former homeschool parent, a certified kids’ yoga instructor and avid reader, writer and storyteller with a passion for whole-child learning.
Lauren is our Child Whisperer, Captain of Crayons and soon-to-be certified elementary educator who infuses every activity with care, enthusiasm, and just the right dose of sparkle. Her hands-on work with young children and fresh academic insights make her both relatable and inspiring to kids and parents alike.
Together, they’re intentionally non-traditional and proudly SPARK-ified — guiding children not just to learn, but to shine!
Their classes, workshops and enrichment programs provide a playful, warm and supportive environment for your child to make new friends, express themselves creatively, and explore the world while meeting and exceeding their important developmental milestones! We can't wait to watch your child shine!
