We use SPARKS (Social skills, Pretend play, Art, Reading/Reflection, Kinesthetic games, and fun STEM activities) to nurture and expand your child's natural curiosity as they build friendships, knowledge, and practical life skills.
With small class sizes, thoughtfully designed themes of exploration, cooperative and self-directed activities, your child has a space to create, play, and thrive, imaginatively, socially, and emotionally.
The Program at a Glance
Parents who choose Bright SPARKS are looking for more than a day program with a few enrichment activities added here and there. They are seeking quality over quantity and want a more holistic enrichment program where their child is inspired, engaged, and celebrated for their own unique brilliance. See our FAQs here
This is not a daycare or a "drop-in" program. It’s an ongoing, 3 hour, 2-days a week, small-group, play-based, enrichment experience designed to nourish your child’s creativity, confidence, and curiosity. It makes a perfect companion for any homeschool or traditional preschool program. Runs three 11-week sessions per year, a 3-week Winter Holiday Mini Camp and a 6-week Summer Camp. (No classes in August.)
This is a perfect environment for children ages 3 1/2 - 5 who:
- are/will be home- schooled
- feel more comfortable in smaller groups
- are not ready for a full day/full week daycare or preschool
- have families looking for something distinctive, enriching and meaningful for them
Created by two experienced educators and carefully curated to help SPARK your child's unique brilliance. Our Schedule:
Our drop-off program is loosely structured, flexible and intentional. We run a two-day schedule, mornings only for 3 hours each morning from 9 - 12 noon,
You can select a Mon + Wed schedule OR a Tues + Thurs schedule
- Winter session: January 12 to March 25 (11 weeks)
- Spring session: April 13 to June 17 (10 weeks).
- Summer Explorers Camp: June 22 to July 30. (6 Weeks)
*(No classes in August.)

How to Register Winter 2026:
Winter session 2026 registration is now open. We are limiting our registration to just 7 children total in each group. We still have the following spots left: (as of Dec 8)
3 spots available for our Monday/Wednesday morning class
1 spot available for our Tuesday/Thursday morning class.
Tuition for our Winter Session includes a non-refundable $100 registration fee ($25 off the regular rate if registered by Dec 18, 2025), and $50 off monthly tuition (you pay $295/month for the first 11-week/3-month session.
After your first 11-week session, if you would like to continue in our Spring session, your rate will remain $295/month. (Your rate will be locked in for at least one year with no additional registration fee, as long as you stay in the program.)

Other Details:
This is a drop-off program for children who are ages 3 1/2 - 5 as of Dec 1, 2025.
Children must be able to understand and follow simple instructions. Children must be potty trained, with the ability to communicate their needs, be independent in the bathroom (pull up/down their clothes, clean themselves), and wash their hands. You may send in an extra change of clothes in your child’s bag in case of a bathroom, art, snack, or outdoor accident!
*(We have a single-use bathroom with a kid-sized "potty" right between our studios.)

Barbara Gini & Lauren Bruge
"We’re not just educators. We’re creative guides, experience-weavers & bright-sparkers."
Barbara and Lauren are the mother-daughter duo behind Bright SPARKS, blending artistic imagination, movement-based learning, and a deep understanding of how children learn and grow best — through play, connection, and curiosity.
Barbara brings many years of enrichment experience: from sensory-motor coaching and therapeutic art to adaptive yoga and creative recreation program design. She’s a mother of 4 grown kids, a former home school parent, a certified kids’ yoga instructor and avid reader, writer and storyteller with a passion for whole-child learning.
Lauren is our Child Whisperer, Captain of Crayons and soon-to-be certified early educator who infuses every activity with care, enthusiasm, and just the right amount of structure. Her hands-on work with young children and fresh academic insights make her both relatable and inspiring to kids and parents alike.
Together, they’re intentionally non-traditional and proudly SPARK-ified — guiding children not just to learn, but to shine!
